Biography
He was the Past Commodore RCN Sailing Association. He was the Secretary of the Maritime Museum of Canada (Halifax NS) in 1958. He was a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Maritime Museum of British Columbia. He was the President of the Naval Officer's Association of Vancouver Island and Regional Director (Pacific) of the Naval Officer's Association of Canada.

He was appointed as a Midshipman RCNVR (With seniority dated 13/07/1939). In 1939 he served in the Ottawa Division RCNVR. He served in the RCN Barracks Halifax 1939. He served in HMCS St. Laurent 1939 (Convoy HX-1). (Transferred to RCN). Anecdotes
He survived the 1944 stranding of HMCS Skeena in Iceland. He died at the age of 103.
